Oneshot thoughts

  • Drugwars is only profitable to cost-efficient investment at the moment because some people spent too much money on it, since they mistake it for some long-term stock option or w/e. It was never intended to make people spend so much.

  • Spending money on drugwars and complaining it's not profitable is like paying for a League of Legends cosmetic skin and complaining Riot isn't depositing dividends in your bank account.

  • NAP is just passive-aggressive dickhead behaviour passing itself off as something politically correct so it becomes socially acceptable.

  • STEEM won't ever legitimately moon, because of how it works and that's okay.

  • As an agnostic, atheism lacks just as much sense as any religion. Oh, and I think angels are what we currently call psychopaths and Adam is a type of genetic modification done on some of them.

I bet you didn't see that last one coming.

obrigada

Não precisa gastar, e geralmente não compensa.

What do you think of drugwars in terms of long-term viability? I feel like it is totally fine to get into now, but in a few months it will be nearly impossible to get into.

In a few months there will be so many established accounts, and so many people putting tons of resources into the heists, that a new person wouldn't be able to win any battles, or gain anything meaningful from heists.

(Keep in mind, as I write this I only started playing a few hours ago, so this is just what has crossed my mind so far)

long-term viability

It's a game. It will be up for as long as people play it.

a new person wouldn't be able to win any battles

You can't attack people who aren't logged in. Storage buildings are cheap and protect an amount of drugs from being stolen. The dev can implement a protection timer for new accounts in the future or solve the problem in other ways. He's active.

gain anything meaningful from heists

It's not an investment fund. You can play for long enough until you get something from heists if you want. You'll eventually get something, because it takes more and more resources than your production every time you want to level up your buildings further, which is good for newbies and bad for veterans. The dev is considering more options to increase game revenue (like ads) to boost the daily heist rewards a bit.

Oh, come on.
