Research: What a typical Whale-Day looks like (with great insight views)

in #steemit8 years ago

My team and I, some Steemit explorers for some weeks now, asked ourselves almost daily what a (steemit)whale-day looks like. We were curious about how a (steemit)whale spends his days and there were a lot of questions open.

e.g. How do they sleep? What do they eat? And where can you find them?

To find an answer to our questions we left our basis to make some research about those (steemit)whales. This research took several days and we needed to go to places all over the world. But mostly you can find them in the United States of Merica.

It was quite hard to see them because they are not always around (especially looking at time zones) but we were able to make some great pictures for you.

So let's take a closer look.

General information about (steemit)whales: At the moment we do have around 55 (steemit)whales based on the data of catchawhale, an organisation which watches whales closely.

First of all you need to differentiate between small and big (steemit)whales. If you find a small (steemit)whale it will bring you joy and makes you and your work felt appreciated but a big whale will make every single hour of research and hard work forgotten. But it doesn't matter which one you meet. They are always great and very (steem)powerfull.

Here you can see a really big one and a smaller one just steeming around the deep ocean.

And as usual, you might have guessed: There are really fat ones, too. We only know that there are six fat whales at the moment around the SteemitBay with over 5000M whale(steem)power.  I don't know how they are called but if you are a whale it makes you sexier the bigger and fater you get. (It has something to do with gravity I think...More SP creates more SP etc.)

(Sorry for that intimate picture, guys. #NSFW

You might ask yourself what (steemit)whales do all day long. That is quite easy: Whales stroll around now and then. Sometimes they come up in groups. If that is the case they make everyone crazy and there is a flood of new (steemit)plankton, also called "posts" or "articles". But the chance to see them like this is pretty little.

Here we had the possibility to make a photo of a whale absorbing some plankton out of the water. They seem to consume/ upvote/ comment some (steemit)plankton aka "articles" or "posts" to fill their purse, ehm, stomach. While "eating" they look pretty funny which makes people happy I think. Or is it the money? We couldn't find out something about that yet.

Some whales aren't happy with plankton only. They need some sweet penguin snakcs, too, for a change.

If you are nice to them and don't offend them they will splash some water (upvotes) at you and let you swing in your little cockleshell going crazy because you think they might flip you over.

And at the end (caution: black humor incoming) of the day, you probably won't believe it, we also saw a whale marriage at the beach :)

But so far we don't have enough information about that. It also looks like that there are only a few female whales for pairing.

Sort:

I have a small fish in a huge sea Steemit! But I very much hope growths and become a whale :) And I wish you the same! Let us all together is listed in the Red Book itself Steemit!

Small fish can grow, too :) Just take your time.

I hope for it! I trust on it!

Informative , funny and well written :)

thanks, @kishornayak
Glad you all liked it :)
