Bitcoin: new fork in November 2017?

The Bitcoin is just emerging from a fork that is already emerging on the horizon. Another group of actor intends indeed to propose its solution to the congestion problem of the blockchain that threatens the bitcoin. Several methods are therefore envisaged by the community: the developers of the Bitcoin Core project have opted for the implementation of Segwit while the supporters of Bitcoin Core have on their side opted for an enlargement of the blocks blockchain blocked. And the newcomers plan to do a bit of both.

This new group is also composed of actors and companies operating within the Bitcoin ecosystem. The group explains to represent in total more than 54 companies spread out in 22 different countries. Among them are Bitmain, one of the players with one of the biggest computing powers in the bitcoin ecosystem.

The activation of this hard fork is scheduled for an indefinite date in the course of November as explained by the proponents of this project in a note posted on Github.
