RE: ACOM DVD Dividend Day - 30/9/21
It's been a very unusual week for me. I usually make my financial moves on Monday, but I have been without a computer all week. As a result, I have not been able to get onto the Steem Engine website because it does not work on my cellphone. Now that I'm finally on a computer, something strange is happening with the Steem Engine website, and I am not able to enter. I have my STEEM sitting there, and have not been able to purchase my usual weekly ACOM DVD, which obviously is a great disappointment for me.
This leads me to ask a question that I have been curious about for some time now. Why the Steem Engine? It's poorly managed, and there is the risk that at any moment the site could go down. As of the writing of this comment, I am still unable to enter Steem Engine, and hence can neither purchase ACOM DVD, nor can I make use of my ACUV. In any case, I'm always grateful to the ACOM Team for thier generosity, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Hey @famigliacurione, you don't have to explain we know you are a big supporter of ACOM DVD and we thank you for your continued support. We chose Steem-Engine as it was a logical choice, and connects with the Steem platform very easily. We are operating on Steemit so it made sense to use it and has worked very well for us. We know there is a threat that @aggroed could pull the plug on it at any time and we would migrate people over to a new token if that eventuality ever happened, so do not worry.
In relation to Steem-Engine all systems are working fine. So what is the exact issue you are having?
This is what I've been getting since yesterday. I'm also unable to visit Steem World, DTube, Anchor and various other sites. I think my computer may be compomised!
Yes this is a problem with your computer or perhaps your browser, I would try a different browser to start with.
Thank you very much for the advice! I have tired the Brave browser but still getting the same problem. I even tried an alternative exchange, https://dex.dlike.io, but could not login. Now I'm on Firefox, but there no Steem Keychain extension, so essentially, I'm locked out of Steem Engine until I can get onto another computer. I have 40 STEEM sitting there waiting to buy ACOM DVD, as well as the ACUV, which I cannot consume. This is one of those down moments for me, which is obviously testing my patience. With Chrome and Brave, I'm also unable to enter Steem World, DTube, Anchor and many other important sites. Fortunately, Firefox is allowing to access most of the sites I need, so I'll just have to work with this for now.
