How to use tags to increase viewership on your posts!

Steemit allows you to tag up to 5 categories or subjects to associate with your post. It is essential that you make a good choice on the category you select as your first tag because the first tag decides which category of Steemit your post will be viewed under. If you are like me and don't really have an idea of what tags to use you can check the list of every single tag used and their popularity.

At the home page you should see a long list of categories to choose from, at the bottom you can select "View all tags.." to see a more extensive list.

Once you click on "View all tags.." you should be greeted with an enormous list of tags which can be filtered, preferably by Payouts.

Hopefully this helps anyone who finds themselves constantly battling with which tag they will choose for a post.
