I will pay attention when I need to. There are plenty of ways on my Steemit blog page for me to know if any of my posts have been commented on, or if any of my comments have replies. Also, I can use Steemd to figure out all of the activity.

There's no reason to have constant notifications, other than if someone is trying to empty my Steem account! :)
