It's Not About The Money...
Having been online since Compuserve, at $25 an hour, I have written posts everywhere. I've been onboard Zuckerman's site since 2009. But Steemit is by far the champion.
A lot of people are coming on board hoping to get rich but I have found that Steemit, once you get use to it, is a great place to find information about almost any subject.
On that other site, of which we won't name, it's tough finding info and the ads just take away from the experience.
But Steemit is now my home.
While I Write I'm Staring At 1200 Beers!
It's a little distracting but it's one of my hobbies and the I'm getting great feedback from the fellow beer lovers here.
I hope to be a regular contributor here and hopefully I can convert a few more friends to join us in the conversation.
And one way to get them on board I've found is don't mention the money. Let them discover all the different topics and then they will ask about that little dollar sign and ask WTH!

Welcome to steemit @everybitmatters. I completely agree with you steemit is on another level when compared to other biggies in the social networking space. Also you're right when promoting steemit we should never talk about money..Let them figure out :)
Thanks for the reply. When I first started telling people they could make money they just shrugged, but when i showed them my blogs here they eventually ask me about the $ sign. Nuff said!!!

Hello . My name is Timmo. I have been here a few weeks and am loving the platform. My page The Southern Va Homestead is dedicated to chronicling my work as my wife and I remodel a home we recently purchased in Southern Virginia and establish a homestead there. Been when I do brew I brew wheat beers.
