Living by values is the only true way of living a life of honor. We can play around with distractions, creating arguments and paying attention to realities that don't support thrival but actually support the status quo-------or, we can hold ourselves accountable to living at a higher standard and build a community based on honor.

When we go to feed the homeless, we meet some of the most grateful people we have ever encountered. I doubt they know we are breaking the law by giving them nourishment, but they do know the system has failed them. Looking in their eyes and giving them our gifts, we too receive a grateful blessing.

The Garden of Eden community exists to show there is a better way. Not a swat raid, unjust laws, or support for the existing system has or will deter us. Within the hour we will be feeding hundreds. With, or without a floor.
