Think about that for a minute...over two thousand new accounts in one DAY.
They ain't free either. Dunno what they cost now but when I joined the were $3 each.
IF (they're not) the same price then that's SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS a day .
I wonder how many of those are fake accounts...
define 'fake'
Well, @anonsteem pays the creation fee of new accounts, and their fee and it costs 2 Steem, so the creation fee is something less than 2 Steem. On the other hand, there are usually not all of them signing up in the same day, as you see in the spilkes, but Steemit Inc creates the accounts as a batch, from what I remember :)
But indeed, people should appreciate their free accounts more, and the efforts of the Steemit team more often!
