Regarding the Long Tail
Myself and other have written about the long tail here, here, here, here, here, and here to point out just a few.
Writers of books are used to being paid as long as the book is in 'print'. Ebooks NEVER go out of print. As an author I think this is a valid concept and I have a solution.
Incorporate steem sales in Steemit.
Simple. An author, (artist, muscian...anyone who produces 'digital content') could provide his work for sale...ON STEEMIT...(perhaps from his blog?)...and get paid in Steem.
No middlemen. You see a book, image or song...
"Hey! I'd like a copy of that"
You go to the blog.
"Transfer XX Steem Please"
You do that...The Author's (artist or muscian) wallet is credited...your wallet is debited...you receive the digital file...
That's the overview...what do you think?
