My Experience

Most times when I talk with my friends, Course mates, or roommates about things like cryptocurrencies and steemit especially, they look at me like am speaking in tongues. 

Many don't even want to hear about it. They feel its too complicated and the process is too long. But talk to them about any Ponzi and the won't hesitate to invest their money and end up losing it. 

At first, I tried talking to a few close friends about steemit, surprisingly none of them were interested. They keep asking questions like 

Is the payout or cash real? 

How can they convert it to the local currency? 

And complained that the process is too much. 

I was lucky to get others who where interested, created accounts, after making few posts with little or no rewards, abandoned the account and are no longer interested. 

Although faults are mine because I created a false expectations to them!

"You Can Make Quick Money on Steemit"

 I have concluded to stop telling people they can make quick money on Steemit. This is in most cases its simply not true and it leaves a lot of people disappointed.  

Instead I have adopted this simply explanation.

But it involves posting of quality contents, networking and being part of the community not for the money aspect.

Nigerians are left behind when it comes to the world of cryptocurrencies. Thank God for people like @ehiboss @gbenga,  @stellabelle, @infovore, @donkeypong, @tojukaka and @samstikkz  and a lot of other people who devote their Time to helping lots of ignorant people and teaching them about steemit, trying to grow the Steemit In Nigeria (SIN) and Africa at large.
