Multiple crypto currencies can coexist just like multiple national currencies coexist today
The debate over one crypto currency being superior to another is much like the debate of one national currency being superior to another. In the end it is value that decides the worth of any currency. But what drives value? It is ultimately the acceptance by people to use the currency in exchange for labor (products). It always takes at least two people to agree on value, the buyer and the seller. This is what drives transactions and exchanges.
What currency do you want to exchange you ideas, labor, and products for? At any given time the answer should vary because it is a market place. One day you may trade a fish for an orange. Another day you may trade a bitcoin for a bike. And yet another day you may share your ideas for steem.
There will be winners and losers in the crypto currency space just like there are winners and losers in the national currencies world. It always comes down to the buyer and seller to agree on value. And there are a myriad of ways an exchange can occur between buyer and seller.
This is why I think steem and bitcoin can coexist in the crypto currency space.
Steem on my friends and always pursue truth.
That makes sense!
Thanks!
I wrote this just before I went to work this morning and kinda rushed it out.
Much appreciated that you think it made sense.
Steem on,
Mike
