SIMON SAYS: stop whale watching - have fun!

First things first: don´t vote for this article! Why not? Because it´s not the kind of meaningful and interesting content this platform deserves.

So why am I writing this anyway? Because I like to write. Because I like to tell a story. Because I want to share my thoughts and get in touch with other people. It´s fun to me.

Do I like rewards? - Of course I do!
Do I want to earn a lot of steem? - Hm.. maybe
What would I do, if I really would like to earn a lot of steem?

Mining, Trading, Setting up a Witness maybe...

Why don´t I? Because reading some interesting articles and writing some on my own is what I like most of all in here. And that´s why I´m totally bored of reading posts like: "Why does no whale upvote my posts?"

Let´s have a look to "real life".

Imagine you are sailing on a boat, enjoying the wind, the sun, the water and the landscape around you. You are having a really good time, maybe with some of your friends. Suddenly there are some waves. You are asking yourself: "Why is the water becoming this uneasily?" You have a look around and and spot something you have never seen before. Maybe a submarine? A shark? No! It´s a whale in it´s pure beauty. You start jelling at your friends: "Hey people, come over here. You need to see this!"

From now on you and all of your friends will remember this day for your whole lifetime - awesome!

But what if there haven´t been this beautiful king of the ocean? Would it have been a bad day? I don´t think so. Except you are on a boat with some other weird people staring at the sea, waiting for a whale. (Don´t do that, I don´t think they like it.)

What I´m trying to say is: stop watching for your big shot on steemit. Start to enjoy your time in here by reading interesting articles, having a look to beautiful photography and learning more about interesting things, you have never heard of before.

Don´t waste your time at whale watching - have fun!
