So Following... Is it's only functionality to change the color of a button?

So I've followed a few of you, for what good that does or maybe it does good. I don't know. I was thinking maybe I'd have a separate stream like the current tag streams, something, anything, other than making a button blue. Anyone have a clue?

Not that I'll stop. I figure it will do something eventually, but can you even see who is following you?
