One might ask how an ancient Irish system of laws could possibly relate to modern times, much less #Steemit and these other new forms of currency known as Crypto Currency?
Well, stick with me here and I think you'll be surprised if you haven't already heard of this concept.
Firstly let's explain what ancient Irish system of laws I am referring to!
This system is likely very similar to many other ancient cultural systems used all over the world. For the purposes of this discussion I will be referring to a system that largely stems from the Druidic culture. The reason this is the system I want to focus on here is because it is one that was (in it's later forms) written down.
While there are no complete works available succinctly detailing the subject I refer to in present time that have not been heavily reduced by various perpetrators so as to distort their import-- the sources we do have available, when combined with cultural references, and knowledge that has been passed down through the generations, can be combined to gain a fairly decent insight as to what the overall system might have looked like.
By name this system is known today as Brehon Law to some. What is Brehon Law? You will find, as is often the case with such materials that there are various 'reduced' definitions of the terminology through 'mainstream' sources. For example, “Brehon Law” is described in Blacks Law Dictionary (2nd Edition) in the following manner:
The name given to the ancient system of law of Ireland as it existed at the time of its conquest by Henry II.; and derived from the title of the judges, who were denominated “Brehons.”

In actuality, Brehon Law is much more than this simple definition which has been left to us by those, whom with their 'new' system of laws have entered foreign lands and installed a false overlay of a sort over the pre existing cultures, and their systems by which they had lived for ages.
This rewriting or conjuring of the new narrative was done so as to reinforce the notion that they done the world a great service by ridding society of it's 'primitive' 'sinful' ways and 'gifted' the world with something far superior to the barbarous ways of life that most lands had known before the invaders so kindly conquered and 'gifted' every culture in the world with their sociopathic version of enlightenment!
Brehon Law began as an Oral Tradition and was first kept alive in the minds of the people that had made it a life choice to partake in obtaining the wisdom and experiences necessary to comprehend the intention, purposes and consequences of these laws. Laws that were enacted within each community and throughout many communities. What is often referred to as a "Judge" (a Brehon) was much more than today's definition of a Judge. To refer to them as simply that would be to lessen the import of the role they played during ancient times. Judges were also 20 year students of wisdom. These "Judges" had gained an understanding of nature, they were poets, and travelers. Yes, in those times they were also sometimes women! Does anyone know when the first female "Judge" was accepted to the bar in our modern times?

I would argue that these conquering forces have robbed both humanity of it's birthright, and the world of it's gifts to humanity. Just one fine example of such a tragedy is when Queen Elizabeth of England ordered the whole of Ireland to be systematically deforested so as to reduce the ability of the Irish People's to hide from the invading forces of England.
On the surface this may seem to be but a tactical move, intended only to enhance one's chances of triumph during battle! As I shall explain, the ramifications of such actions on the part of the English Queen had much farther reaching consequences for the Irish People than simply removing their ability to remain cloaked amongst the forests! These sort of ramifications have been seen in other cultures as well, for example the with Native People's of the Americas. For the purpose of this discussion I will stick to the Irish Story. One can apply the theory to other cultures while reading along, and a much larger picture will begin to form!

When Queen Elizabeth the 1st of England ordered the deforestation of the whole of Ireland, I would suggest she had much more knowledge of what she was doing than she's been given credit for as far as I have seen. Both the Church, and the Royal Bloodlines had access to plenty of esoteric and occulted information sources from the very beginning.

Some was inherited, much was stolen. In the cases of that which was stolen, I would suggest they lacked the awareness to fully grasp the spiritual implications of the materials. You cannot simply steal a book and read it then instantly know all of the subtleties of the topic! I'd give you the example of Self Mortification as Practiced by a well known Catholic Sect. This is a practice in which members are required to wear a barbed chain around their thigh for several hours a day because they apparently misunderstand the concept of torture being conducive to bringing about insights, or enlightenment.
The Early Irish, indeed many others had a very deep and profound connection and relationship to the natural world. They viewed themselves as part of it, rather than separate from it as is mostly the case today. Thus the way they interacted with and maintained it was not only more healthy for the people, but nature as well. The Trees were revered as conscious beings with much knowledge. They were known as keepers of the akashic records, in much the same way as other cultures view whales as being the record keepers of the world. (Similar actions were perpetrated in the early Americas resulting in deforestation of food forests once tended by the Native Peoples.)

The idea may seem ridiculous to people of today, but look around at what today is seen as progress!
Each tree species had it's own collective frequency (they still do) and it's own properties with benefits for the whole. Today our institutionalized forms of 'learning' (Controlled indoctrination from the systems of the same conquering forces which have removed all of the ancient wisdom of humanity that they have been able to!) would have us relegate all of this knowledge to the realms of myth and legend. The stuff of 'fairy tales'! But if we were to look at the ways of these people without the filters, including the narratives which have been written by the would be 'victors' then we might begin to see that there is much wisdom and knowledge in these 'barbarian' cultures! Knowledge and wisdom which could save us from being led to our total destruction by the descendants of these same royals and their various institutions yet today!
We also now know that soil health is imperative for producing nutritious whole plant foods! These whole foods are have a plethora of medicinal qualities. In order for soil to be healthy, it is required that many symbiotic relationships between various life forms in the ground be present. By mass clearing of the land's forests this would have damaged the soils and ruined all of the intelligent networking of the essential undergound colonies! These colonies of microbes, fungi, insect life and root systems which are much like the internt of the forest help to address imbalances in the soil! It would have reduced the air quality/Oxygen levels, thus potentially reducing mental function of the populations! It would have contributed to weather changes and so forth as well.
As a side note, as we have so many wires and sources of unhealthy frequencies surrounding us due to the corporate control of technology to our collective detriment today, it may also be noted that there have been suggestions made that certain tree species and other vegitation are able to help transmute or mitigate the negative effects of such things on human health. Considering many of the trees are having difficulty maintaining their own health as they are being slowly and systematically cooked, while out of view of most of the public, we may not have long to study/realize/admit the effects of such a tragic lack of vegitation.
I feel that it is imperative that we begin to recognize the overall impact of the barbaric, as well I would argue, not so short sighted assaults on humanity which have taken place at the hands of the invasion of the Abrahamic Faiths. Before that time many cultures had basically the same, mostly harmonious relationships with the land! The ancient cultures ways of interacting with each other, while we've been led though Hollywood, and writers often commissioned by the invaders themselves, to view all ancient cultures as nothing but warring monkeys, was often one based more upon common sense derived from everyday life experiences, rather than a load of commands of nonsensical 'must do's' handed to a man from a being that only gave these rules to him.

There are plenty of remains of ancient cultures all over the world that make it quite clear to one possessing the ability to engage in critical thought that there was at some point at least one (some suggest more) very high functioning worldwide civilization that was far from primitive barbarians. *This flies in the face of what most are 'taught' in their Prussian models of schooling. *
If we aspire to come to some comprehensive, collective awareness of what the past ages might have actually looked like, once the filters that have been installed like computer programs into the collective minds are removed-- we may be able to combine that ancient wisdom with the advancements we have today and come up with something amazing that would free us from the current enslavement system that so many are just now beginning to wake up to. This is discussed in a video with regard to Steemit further on in this post.
We can use the ancient world's knowledge of nature to heal both ourselves and the natural world. In cases where we feel we don't have enough viable sources of written information, we can reach deep within, connecting to this wisdom. The old wisdom is within us, even though we are taught to doubt our own awareness and experiences from birth! The knowledge is passed on in your DNA. It's in your blood. We can also utilize the concepts of societal workings during those ancient times as we build new platforms for human interaction. We can use our technology with wisdom and conscious intent to create a much more fair, decentralized 'system'.
In this video produced by the Brehon Law Academy it is Kevin Flanagan discusses how this ancient form of decentralized non governmental system of living laws relates conceptually to #Steemit and the block chain technology as well as several other Crypto Currencies.
He discusses how he sees some of this technology being used in ways that are concurrent with the ways of Brehon Law, as well as some areas where with our current knowledge we could improve upon some of the old ways which were not so perfect. The idea of Steemit as being a meritocracy of a sort, is similar, according to Kevin, to how, in ancient Ireland, people had to earn their place in society from the bottom up, by forming relations with the people of the community.
Please see the video for this very interesting view of how the crypto world, and specifically Steemit can be used in a way to make the changes we need to make if we want to have a more free world, with decentralized power built by the people! This would be instead of having a system handed down upon us, like shovels of dung by those whom have tried for so long to bury the truth of these old ways! Comprehending how, for so long, these ancient systems of laws worked on such a broad scale can be of great value to us in the present!

As soon as we stop agreeing that we need this current forced (or violently enforced) “immoral” (for lack of a better word) system of centralized governance based upon the lie that we've been programmed with, over, and over again-- that society would collapse without our current system of government, then the corruption and harm inherent to such a system, a system ripe for such abuses will become a thing of the past!
I would suggest that rather than a taking sides approach to bringing about change, we think of it this way... I propose we should cherry pick the very best of each 'society' that we know to have existed and seek to bring to fruition only those beautiful parts of each.
Everyone, even the Royals have ancestors that were pagan. In today's modern information era there have been plenty of “expository” presentations by such people as Jordan Maxwell, and many others which have attempted to tie all of our problems into one culture or another. For example Jordan Maxwell has suggested many times that Druids are to blame for Hollywood with some very convincing bits of information that most people are unaware of.
While at first glance, that may appear to be a viable explanation for the current state of the world, I would argue (a topic to expand upon in another post, perhaps...) that the version we are seeing being pointed out is co-opted, or a corruption of the true ancient Druidic ways brought about to keep us from exploring such topics which could potentially result in our discarding of the ancient knowledge we so desperately need! We see this far too often with topics related to the old ways.

The events surrounding what we are told of WWII have so tarnished that symbol which was used by many highly spiritual cultures all over the world as far back as man has evidence for human existence, that we are programmed to either hate it, or ignore it completely, rather than to try to gain an understanding of what it originally was.
I would guess that there are many people alive today whom have ancestral links to the “Royal” families, or ties to ancient Religious organizations that they may have no knowledge of, especially in the U.S. By this same token, though it may be more difficult to verify on paper, each person has ancestors that were at some point in human 'history' part of these wise, ancient, what we think of today as 'pagan' cultures.
We can argue forever about which is better, or which is the 'right' way. I would think it a better use of our energy to focus on finding the truth of what we have lost and implementing the better practices of each, while learning about the more negative aspects and seeking to 'get' the message as to how it had come about in the first place so that we may prevent an easily avoidable recurrence (or continuation) of events that bore tragedy for all of humanity.
Clearly there is an imbalance that is in dire need of being addressed. If we learn the truth, we may be able to avoid repeating the mistakes that have led humanity to the brink of destruction today.
