Steem Missing a Huge Opportunity to Become Crypto U by Dreaming Too Big

There is a hue opportuntity for steem if we reorganize to seize it. Crypto U!

We are the easiest way to learn about crypto and earn crypto while doing it.

There has been so much focus on generating general content we are squandering an easy opportunity right in front of us.

3. the number of people that need to be educated on crytpto is growing expeontially

So why aren't we the premier place to get crypto info?

The front page is littered with a bunch of random topics only a few whales care about. These whales are trying to predict what will capture a big market. They are bad at predicting. We should focus on dominating crypto news .

we have a huge advantage over reddit lets use it.

We pay contributors and commentors. Reddit has millions of other topics that drive traffic and can never dominate crypto.

the news aggregators are good but we enable discussions a killer feature

Even more important after increased comment or rewards in the next hardfork. We can take summaries of content form these aggregators and ask questions and pay those that clarify the confusing portions through comments

focusing here will have lower customer acquisition costs

People familiar with crypto should feel they need a crypto account to comment ( and earn) from their knowledge. This is a growing number of people. People without knowing about crypto should hear about us when they are researching crypto for the first time because we are known as crypto U. The number of people interested will grow expeontially. All we have to do is ride the wave.

What else do we need to become Crypto U?

2. Some fixed topics In addition to trending hot new we should have a crypto u drop down for the top 3 currencies and general crypto news and otheR. These could be forced to appear in top of the existing topic box.

3. Whales stop voting for general stuff -Focus! the most focused always wins. With crytpto n ews and ed we can be the best. If small users want to vote for recipes or general stuff they c an but the whales and big rewards must all vote for topics we can dominate. Crypto is the only one.
