Someone seems to be doing something about this. Have a look at @friendsofgondor, there is an alternative to flagging and risking your reputation. I think it requires mass support of those that are prepared to take the risk. I will see what small contribution I can make, I think it's worth a try. Glad you're feeling better <3
One of the accounts concerned has been taken to task lately. It keeps ruining the trending page but rewards are cancelled out through flags before payout. As far as the reward pool abuse is concerned, a lot has been done already. I'll be a happy person if this account stops posting or posts just once a day.
The other account has been warned as well by someone with good stake. Let's see what happens. I am glad at the developments.
