50523 STEEM where moved yesterday by @ned and @dantheman into the market,
which drives the price down. Do you think it is a positive sign that they start to
distribute some Steem , or it creates panic, because it looks like they start to
cashing out? Or whats your opinion about it? Please comment, thanks.

Normale Reaktion. Vor kurzem waren sie noch Multimillionäre. Nach dem Preisverfall sind einige wenige noch Millionäre. Jetzt kommt die Angst vor dem Verlust des Reichtums. Jeder möchte noch etwas von dem Geld realisieren. Sollte später noch Panik ausbrechen, ............
Man muss sich eben auch etwas mehr um die Akzeptanz einer Währung kümmern.
Eine Steemmap hätte von Anfang an hier her gehört.
Posts mit Steem akzeptierenden Firmen sind hundert mal wertvoller als Seiten füllende Lobgesänge im internen Kreis der Steemer.
Mein alter Spruch. Eine Währung mit der man nichts kaufen kann ist auch nicht viel Wert.
Natürlich ist Steemit gerade am Anfang des Aufbaus und es kann noch nicht viele Akzeptanzstellen geben. Aber man sollte dieses Thema besser bewerten. Dann wird sich die Lage auch schnell ändern und der Preis wird sich erholen.
Vitalik hat ja auch 100.000 Ether auf den Markt geworfen, kurz bevor der Preis nach oben schnellte. Ein schlechtes Zeichen ist es aber dennoch, zumal der Steemit-Account auch unter der Kontrolle der beiden Spezels sein sollte, und der cashed ja jede Woche eine halbe Million aus (was steemit.com zum Teil aber auch für die Server und das Personal braucht).
Interessante info, wusste ich nicht. Na ja hoffen wir das beste fuer Steemit.
Danke fuer deine Meinung, schaetze ich sehr. Ja mit der Steemmap gebe ich Dir Recht, Marketing wird auch kaum gemacht oder ist so gut wie nicht vorhanden. Aber wie Du schon sagst , Stemmit ist noch am Anfang und immer noch in BETA. Warten wir es ab, ich bin trotzdem sehr zuversichtlich.

Not sure if that would be the best course of action right now. Don't you think it's better to first enhance the website with the feedback of it's 5k active users before engaging in mainstream marketing?

I know little of economics . . .
The little I know says if someone is selling something then anyone buying is mainly prepared to pay just what they feel it is worth; someone called this supply and demand or some other complicated technical name.
So I am going to go out on a limb here and radically suggest some people sold some Steem because they thought someone actually wanted to buy some Steem.
So does this mean the people buying the Steem just plan on waiting till the price of Steem falls further before they offload their purchase or does someone out there actually think Steem might go up and they might actually make money; who knows, right ?
Anything is possible maybe a whale is just selling to another whale and choosing to lose the transaction costs in the name of promoting and marketing the steem and Steemit brand. Maybe one of these crazy cryptocurrency traders feels he can buy this stuff today and buy litecoin or something tomorrow.
Who knows and who cares; I am having fun messing around on Steemit, I have actually found four nice people here so far. Its a brave new world and I want to help change a little corner of the internet and a tiny bit of society . . .
And; when I stop having an interest here I will pack up my keyboard and mouse and launch myself out somewhere else in cyberspace : )

I think its ok, like i said to chitty to balance the market a bit better. Of course its not fair for the users who bought some Steem at a higher price....

Well i dont know why they do it, thats the question here, maybe they want that the price is going down, that users can buy some cheap Steem. Or they need money for the weekend :) just kidding...
