Approaching the 400k total accounts which is great. Didn't think we'd see the volume and the price plummet so quickly, especially with all the Steem bought and powered up by Steem Inc. Hopefully Ned will make frequent announcements about the progress of SMTs to keep some momentum and keep Steem in the news cycle.
What do you think about the SMT? In my opinion, it's something separate from Steem and won't benefit the community would like to see them working on Steem more.
I told you guys... the curse of the $1.00 to $1.50 trading range of Steem is real, and until we break the magical $2.00 mark, I'm afraid it will continue to haunt the price of Steem.
Also, we have to get those daily account numbers up into the tens of thousands!
Steemit is over a year old now, and in Facebook's first year, they had over 1,000,000 "ACTIVE USERS", not 40,000 active users that Steemit roughly has... what's the game plan folks?
And it's hard to make an argument to get them to stay too, because the whales rule Steemit, and it's the inevitable problem all pay-to-win systems must eventually face unfortunately.

You're right, I guess I should compare it to Reddit instead, it's almost exactly the same, but I do not know what their daily active user numbers were back in 2006, but I doubt it was 40,000.

Hate to say but something has to change. People are not staying.
