- What is Steemfest? Why would I want to go?
@Steemfest is a (so far) yearly event where Steemians gather at a single location and have a sort of festival of the steem, as per the name. Far beyond the average meetup, Steemfest offers a multi day event full of speakers, fun presentations, social gatherings, a Steemit/Bitshares hackathon and as much Steemit & Crypto networking as you could ever hope for. Legend says that one day Steemfest might become so large it will require it's own island. If you are interested in meeting your fellow Steemians face to face, this would be the ideal place to do it.
