Why has no one created a amazon like website but where you can use steem dollars and other currencies
This i would like to see, much stuff i would buy. Need none of it, i will.
Just an idea for some of the website developers on here. I have no idea how you would build it all i know is i'd be your first customer! (try to be) :P
I will even list items on there myself!!! :D Steemians could be the ones too sell the items and i would bet a range of items from all over the world!

One of the big problems while it will work in the USA it wont work in the UK because the need for postal rates, if you sell clothes it needs to have add size or other attributes, but again it is down to a trust system and as anybody knows if they have sold on ebay or amazon you have loads and loads of bad players in other words no-body can be trusted.
you base the rates on the price of where it's sent and stipulate that in the user agreement? say it costs $5 for me to get a certain weight item from the US to the UK then that should be the price that the seller adds. By buying it at that price of postage we agree to the terms? Or you could have it more decentralized and unregistered operate in secret. Depends who is the one setting it up. Some people are like fuck the government for example. Also adding an escrow system. That mitigates alot of the risk. Also postal tracking is always a good idea.
