When is enough really enough?

It truley is an interesting question. When is enough really enough? I've done some thinking on this question, and I wanted to share my rambles and thoughts with the steemit community, to see if I could provoke some responses.

Its simple

In truth, the answer that I discovered is much simpler than I had first thought. It is enough when more does not benefit you. Let me repeat that. It is enough when more does not benefit you. For example, lets say you apply this to money. You can know that you have enough money when excess money does not benefit you. Everyone knows that too much money is often a bad thing. So when thinking in terms of money, you have enough money, when more money would do more harm than good. Of course, in the case of money, the amount you can handle varies from person to person.

Another example

Do you remember begging your parents to play video games (or something similar) over and over and over. Whenever they said "no", you would just ask again and again until they said yes. If you don't remember harassing your parents in this manner, then you were probably a better child, than I was ;) .

More rambling

So in the end, you know you've had, done, or have enough when more does not benefit you. Whether its if you've had enough with someone, you've done enough of something, or have enough of something.
