Steemit has hit the presses again today; this time it is Finance Magnates, not quite Forbes as yesterday but still, there is no such thing as bad publicity, as they say!

In the meantime, there seems to be a lot of fund building going on, preparing to finance further Blockchain technologies. The obvious targets must be in Banking and Equities Clearance Houses which are laboriously slow and expensive, still.

Other targets: Media, Intellectual Property, Music, as I have written, Smart contracts, Commodities (Trading and Market Reports), High Volume (Algorithmic Trading) - there will be many others.

The Gold diggers did not get rich; the railroad builders and the merchants selling jeans, shovels and so forth, they got rich!

Witnesses on steemit are your assurance of confidence in the system.

When you vote for witnesses, think about someone less obvious:

Listed at No. 53 is @timcliff, not even appearing on the list because you can only see to number 50. You have to write his name in the box! One for the scrutineers. @timcliff is a really good steemmate of mine, a very trustworthy and dependable guy who thinks for himself and for you.
Gandalf is No.17, the person who gave me a realisation that despite all the fake names, we have humans; he is a techy looking after security. He is listed as @gtg but he is known by his Mum and on Steemit Chat as Gandalf!

So, go to https://steemit.com/~witnesses - you need your authorisation password

And be sure to include 17 @gtg & 53 @timcliff

Meantime follow @ebryans

Namaste!

With much gratitude to @son-of-satire for my new gif – very swanky it is too!

Thanks for calling attention to the article. It's well-written: if it's a republished press release, Steemit has got itself a talented press-release writer. :)

I wrote the post - not the article! It is funny what you see when you read sometimes. Familiarity and all that!
Thanks for the comments - much appreciated
