Please update the text of the article to clarify: does SP stand for Steem Power, and does SPD stand for Steem Dollars?

Also, is Steem which can be obtained with Steem Dollars--is Steem its own cryptocurrency similar to Bitcoin? Bitcoin has its own trade symbol or abbreviation, BTC. If Steem is its own cryptocurrency, what is the symbol for Steem?

    I was similarly confused... I can only assume SBD is the Steem Dollar?
