Think Before Your Write On Steemit
The simple truth is that good post sells while bad post is never appreciated. If there is anything I have learnt on Steemit, it's that you should always write post that is valuable to the community. No one will waste their vote on useless post. Whether you are new or here for a while on Steemit, always try to write good post.
Ask yourself this questions? What is the message of this post? Is it something new or something that is well known in the Steemit community? Will I upvote this kind of post myself?

This is so true @eadiatu. I really appreciate what you write. Moreover, one should write whatever he/she feels like. I know many people here just want to make money so regardless of what they are good at, they write what others like. So, the best thing is be yourself. :)

Good advice. I also want to have fun and mix my passion and useful stuff. But you are right, a benefit for the community is the best foundation for a new blog post.
