Also, for the record super creative idea. I'd be interested in thinking of other ways to add more mechanics to this game.
Perhaps a basic rock paper scissors mechanic like in pokemon. Fire beats plant, plant beats water, water beats fire.
Maybe during the random pairing if you have a type advantage you add +1 to their dice roll.
I'm currently working on stuff to make this better. I appreciate you excitement!
