800 Followers - What to Do... Oh I Know - Power Up Big and Start Curating...
Hello all...
I reached the 800 follower milestone recently and I really want to say thanks to everyone. I honestly didn't think too many people would be interested in my particular brand of "crazy", but apparently there are quite a few of you out there.
Who da thunk it ...
First off I want to give a shout out to a few specific people who have saw fit to leave comments on my posts... Not everyone who has contributed to my madness is here, and if I missed you I apologize. I went through my comments and just picked a handful of the recent's and a handful of the not so recent ones...

Now to the problems that having so many followers, and following almost twice that much is giving me - that's how do I keep up with everyone with so many posts rolling through my feed. Obviously there's no way to catch everyone's posts, and commenting is completely out, so what I really want to do is have a more focused group of people that I can pay much more attention to.
So that brings me to the only solution that I can think of - I reluctantly have to clean out many of the names in my "following" list so I can better interact with people who follow me. I am a little worried that I might cut someone who actually shouldn't be, but I really have no choice if I want to focus my efforts. For right now i'm going to clear everyone who I follow but does not follow me, and later on I will sort through that list a little further - to really direct a lot of my "steemitude" towards...
With that out of the way it brings me to the good stuff...
As a way to say thanks to everyone, and with MUCH help from @minnowbooster, and the brilliance of @binkley - I have powered up 4500SP and have a curation bot coming on line soon. For right now I will be using it exclusively to curate posts from my 800 followers and SteemThat.com members. Maybe down the road I will expand to include everyone, but a Doctor can only make so many house calls right.
I really want to push "curating" posts, and this will not only be a great way to do that, but it's a guaranteed way to get more eyes looking at my writing. Steemit has become something I truly believe in (in spite of much frustration at it's problems), and in doing this I can invest more than just my opinion into the Steemit platform.
I don't have everything dialed in just yet, but i'm working on it - should be squared away by the end of the weekend though. As with everything in life, the devil's in the details - so until then my followers, feel free to drop me a link and i'll take a look...
Keep in mind though - I will be brutally honest when looking at everything, no matter if I think its great, ok, or shit, you can most certainly count on me to be truthful and let you know...
Because after all, who wants a doctor who isn't straight forward, direct, and to the point... :)

Yes, I believe that they will be more of us to join, and more with interesting posts too. It is a platform where we can meet like-minded people who do share similar interests and put in much effort in their writings. There are lots of things we can learn by just reading their posts. It's fun and it liberates the wild ideas we have in mind.
