Steem Supply: Social Insights Sneak Preview
I've been working on a new feature of steem.supply called "Social Insights". I started it because I really wanted to know who are my most important supporters (people who are upsteeming with the most weight) and who are my most loyal voters (people who are constantly upsteeming my posts, regardless of their weight).
Here's a sneak preview of this new feature:

This is a work in progress screenshot, this feature wasn't implemented yet, so don't try to find it on the public app.

Hey! Yes, I think this is valuable... It is remarkably similar to steemvp, though. Is there a circumstance when I would choose this functionality of steem.supply over steemvp?
You can choose whatever tool you want, obviously, but in this case, having them all under the same roof can make the data consumption a bit more palatable. Or at least, that's what I think :)
Well, I'll be happy to use it on Steem supply, and see how my behavior naturally changes, if it does.
Also, does "upsteems" just mean "upvote"?
Yes, that's my term for it, because it makes more sense. It's a way to raise one's "steem", not just vote.
Got it. I also wonder if there's a way to calculate whose votes are having the greatest impact on your reputation.
Reputation is a vanity metric, it doesn't have anything to do with your rewards. It basically increases every time somebody with more SP than you is upsteeming your posts. The only metric that has to do with rewards is Steem Power.
Anybody with more rep than you, you mean? I feel like it also gets used by folks when they're determining whether or not a particular comment is spam. I've seen innocuous (if spammy) comments get flagged if the author of them had a low rep, and the same kinds of comments not get flagged if the author has a decent rep. It influences behavior, and so has an indirect impact on Steem supply, but I can see your point.
wow, so awesome. i really enjoy the idea of analytics, i wish i was more computer savvy so i could dig in more. when i finally get rid of my pos computer maybe i'll get some of the bells and whistles on a new laptop to do so / PEACE !
Love it. While you're pulling stats; I'd love to see New followers per comment, month on month, to see if I'm becoming more appealing as an author/commenter.
This is out of the scope of this specific app, as all the data pulled is from past 7 days (the main goal of the up is to give you the answer to the question: "when and how much am I going to be paid?"). But if theres enough demand for more analytics, I may start a separate tool for that, under a different domain.
I must reload your site 20x a day. I'm very excited to see what you have planned. I notice over the last few days a few other things you added and I really like the Content Insight tab. Breaking it down to per post and per comment is very interestininteresting to see. Keep up the awesome work, I really appreciate it!

I have a question that popped into my head surfing your site this morning. At the bottom of the social insight tab it says __ steemians upsteemed your post in the time window. Does that mean a week like the rest of the data? And would there be a way to change the paramiters to see for the lifetime of your account or maybe a couple different lengths of time. I know you just added these parts and I love it but wanted to make some suggestions for the future. Thanks again!
