And Victory Is Ours: STEEM Won The Netcoins Contest - And It's Now Part Of A Significant Network Of Virtual ATMs
I just checked the results of the Netcoins contest and I confess I'm overwhelmed: STEEM won!
STEEM won a free listing in Netcoins network of virtual ATMs, which means it is now available at a sizable pool of retailers who accept cryptocurrencies.
From an economical point of view, it means STEEM will get much more visibility and that should help with mass adoption. People will be able to use their STEEM to buy real stuff in Netcoins' network of retailers.
But STEEM gained much more than that.
It gained in maturity, in stability and it showed that it is ready to become a community. The path is long and - probably - many more roadblocks will wait us ahead, but at least we know we really are a community now, and we are on the right path.
