A Screenshot To Remember: STEEM Rewards Pool Over 1,000,000 (And Slowly Getting Back To Previous Values)
I was eagerly expecting this moment and I'm happy I caught it, a couple of hours ago. STEEM rewards pool finally got over 1,000,000, a value which I'm sure we won't be seeing again soon (screenshot from steem.supply):
I couldn't post just when I took the screenshot (which happened, again, two hours ago) so I took another one just now, and it shows it's slowly getting back to previous levels (which are around 700,000):
It lost almost 1,000 STEEM in 2 hours, but I expect this rate to increase a little, as 7 days payment windows will start getting triggered.
All in all, let's rejoice this while it's last.

Great news, so are votes now increasing in value to compensate and bring the pool back down into line...?

The votes value increases because there's a larger pool from where they are distributed.
That's why my payouts were more than "ordinary" 😁.
