The Best Strategy For Voting On Steemit

in #steemit7 years ago
  • We have three categories of bloggers at Steemit - High Power Bloggers, Competitors with Competitive Voting Power, Low-Power Bloggers. I want to explain all three categories and what is the way to climb to the top.

  • Bloggers with high voting power.
There are two types of people here, those who are only investors, delegate their voting power or give votes to their favorites. Those who write their posts, active strong bloggers, they mostly give voices to themselves, and to their commentators. If they support someone, they are usually ions of people who can give them a lot of SBD. It's okay to get the money on the comments, but how to get their real attention, if I do not have strong voting power, I'm an outsider.
I think it would be better to develop Steem it when you do not know who gives us SBD, then you really would choose the best authors, not the richest authors. Of course, we do not want to reward people who are not honest with us, it's good to see the names of people who gave vote to our post (but random names). I do not like part of the competition for levels, I like to win the best authors. On the other hand, the site is very transparent, we know exactly about bloggers, what it has, how much it has earned, etc.

  • Bloggers with decent voting power (from O.5 to 2 SBD).
These bloggers try to support their commentators, they also support new people according to their abilities. For me, this is the group that promotes Steemit the most. People are trying to make the right relationship between new users and strong bloggers, every strategy and every man is a story for themselves. And there are people who reward themselves, okay, they have the right to do it and everything is allowed.

  • A third group of bloggers are new users, with little voting power. They are not interesting to the strong players, they have to work hard, comment on 100 or more posts a day, they must be active 24 hours to climb on the success scale.
If they do not have money to invest in the SP, then this is a much more difficult path, but Steemit again gives everyone a chance to succeed. We can also rent SP, that's quite a good option, of course there are limitations and limits for investing in the SP.

  • The question arises, do we choose 10 to 20 -30 strongest bloggers and give comments and votes only to their posts, or to support those little players? In my opinion, the best combination is to make both strategies. New users are advancing, we do not know when any of them will invest money, they bring new users, so we all grow together. What is your strategy, I want to hear the best options from you ?

Good post! Resteemed :) I think it is very important to support new communitymembers because otherwise they will loose motivation. When I started with steemit the community was small compared to now but it was still not the easiest thing to get a strong vote. At the beginning bloggers need to be pacient but if they are willing to communicate and contribute content they can make good earnings.

Thanks for the right support you gave me, a wonderful answer / you really help new users

I so agree @yoganarchista we all have had to do our due diligence here and I think supporting the newbies is crucial to the success of Steemit.

i,m the third one who don,t have money to buy steem but i have bought some on rent. i try to earn money on steemit by commenting. i have 5 strong blogger which includes you on 1st position whom i vote and comment to get your responce and i am happy that i got your responce some how.
thanks for sharing your amazing work

Thank you, continue with great work

Yes I also agree with your thoughts. We need both strategies. We never know when the new user is investing his money. Thus we can wake up together and move forward with unlimited time. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. This is a very useful post for those of us who do not yet have high vote power. Good luck always for you @dobartim.

Thank you for your support, understanding and comment

You are welcome.

Commenting on 100 posts each day? That probably explains why there are so many nonsense comments that give no indication that the commenter has consumed the content. I'm working on getting SP right now so that I can reward people who actually engage with what I'm talking about.

That is right decision

My strategy is to try to avoid using of voting bots, support good content, curate every day and make this place a bit better.

Very good strategy, I´ll try :-)

I believe it will work

Useful post and information!

excellent post, we the new users have to work hard, we have to be always interacting with others, commenting those posts that really like us. We have to be honest!

I believe both work for everyone concerned. I love seeing the new people doing there best to interact with us. They have to work so hard to be recognized in the grand scheme of things. We have been here since the beginning and have plowed a road for ourselves the hard way too. We would do well to support the new kids on the block that are really trying.

Thank you for kind support
