How do you usually curate? Manually or use autovoter and why?

I prefer curating manually. Using autovoter is the second version of a bot. If you use autovoter means you are curating it without reading the content, that means it is more to do with curation reward and nothing to do with what content is written in the article. The primary purpose of this platform is content creation, proof of brain, productive engagement and making sure that people keep the highest spirit of a social blogging community with a blockchain backed platform like steemit.

Manually curating an article means, the curator is reading the article and after being convinced by the quality of the content, the curator is deciding to vote with a certain percentage of vote weight with highest percentage for good quality content and lowest percentage for low quality content. That makes a sense to curation also. Sadly in this platform very few curate manually and Ned should focus on this area to how to improve and encourage more manual curation, otherwise I do not see a point of any kind of productive engagement.

If people stop reading, stop making a comment or replying then what is the use of this platform? If everything operates through autovoter, then it is just like setting a machine to print reward only and no sense of value based social media. With that being said, manual curation should be given top priority.

Hi @divine-sound

Did you consider adding some photo to your post? then your post would have visible thumbnail. otherwise it does look less "visually attractive".

Yours

I will start adding illustration or visuals and try to make it more attractive for readers/audience. Thank you for this suggestion.

It surely will help @divine-sound :)
