Not bad. But unless it fits a current trend, even early and only emerging, it's good for fun not more.

Not exactly. I'm talking rather about creating stuff for industries begging to be innovated. Otherwise your invention will not get accepted.
First touch phone was released in 197x. There was just no potential accumulated to accept the invention. 30 years later - boom.
My point is: before pursuing your idea - check the potential (the trend).
