This is my blog post series known as "Why Steemit" and friends here I'm sharing some interested things related to Steemit, That will help you to grow here on Steemit because as a newbie on Steemit, most of Steemitians are struggling to grow.
And this is the 6th part of this series and today I'm going to share some information about "curation rewards" on Steemit.
Because Curation reward is one of the important factor that will help you to grow and earn more here on Steemit.

Friends, We all know that there is two types of earning in Steemit:-

First one is

Author reward earning

and second one is

curation reward earning.

So both types of earnings are important for us. So in this Blog series I'm going to tell you about Curation reward earnings.

Basically curation reward earning means your upvote earning by curation of others best content and for that curation you are eligible for some rewards. Because you recognise that content before than any others Steemitian.

Curation reward play an important role for any Author earning because every upvote by others help the author to earning.

Generally any blog post total earning is divided into two part that is

Author Reward- 75-80% of total blog post earning(Approx) and Curation Reward:- 20-25% of total blog post earning

But curation reward earning depends on the time period of your curation of that post after publishing buy Author it means if you are a early blog post curator/upvoter then you will get more curation reward as comparison to other curator/upvoter, who upvoted that blog after you.

In this Blog you can see the Blog post reward distribution:-

Total Post earning:- $177.67

Author reward Earning:- $142.69 (80.31 %)

Curator reward Earning:- $34.98 (19.69 %)

So total $34.98 will be divided into all upvoters/curators.

Curation rewards is also depends on your upvote value it means higher upvote value will give you higher curation reward.
So you should also focus on increase you upvote value for high curation reward value.

If I talk about some famous curator on Steemit platform, than some names comes here like @acidyo @teamnz @curie @good-karma @minnowsupport @teamsteem @papa-pepper @ats-david

In this Top curator list there are some human and there are some Bots and they have high upvoting power so they earns high curation reward for any Blog Post.

@acidyo @ats-david and @curie are the some most famous curators, which are more active in curation.
