What Steemit is to me?! - Interessting question - Here some of my ideas after being here just a month
What is steemit for me?!
Just the other day @looftee was asking this question and I started to think about a while. I like that kind of challenges so here is my post and my ideas.

Overcome the old
First at all, the atmosphere with all the Steemians is such a wonderful thing. We are part of a start from something new, which seems to work. Social Media and sharing ideas, pictures from our day by day live and even some food, beer, cats flowers or other content wich is cute or cool is something we as LOVE. But until know there was nothing really social, because only the big guys get the benefit for offering us their - more or less - great tools.

Even if old is only a few years old
We all get more or less addicted by the new way to be social with the tools the Digitization offers us. Many use Twitter, Google plus, Instagram and all the other tools who follow the same scheme. There is a platfrom and you pay with your content for using it. The owner of the platform get the benefit from the commercial site. This model was OK, for some time but than we got a new baby from the world of Digitization called Blockchain.

This little fellow is another new game changer
With a decentral system, the world works different. And steemit mackes his benefit from this new feature to offer us content creators a new way to offer great content - or again some cat, flower, beer and food pictures.
I enjoy the engaging and open minded people, I'm willing to spend some time to create content and I enjoy the feeling to be part of the value chain and not only the fuel for others.

We walk into a new future with steemit and we are just at the beginning. The new technology offers a new way for us and I'm more than happy to try this new way for some time. We all will see what we may create out of this chance.

The most concerning problem that i see with the growth of the steemit community is keeping the integrity and maintaining a community that's passionate about what it does! But i think it's not an impossible challenge, and i hope that we are more and more each day
yes - I think this is in our hands....
... but I see a fair chance.
It is the world changing aspect of it that caught my attention. I really believe we are on to something here.
And we two try already different things for some years.
Have the same feeling and see a lot potential!
Like you said, Steemit is a real game changer. At least I see it that way. There will be more game changers on many different levels using blockchaintechnology . Very exciting to be part of it.
