As I understood it, @abit's experiment was to see how payouts would work if whales couldn't upvote... sorry you got hit with it (I've been hit with "odd" downvotes, too), because that can suck... on the other hand, without running functional experiments, it's hard to tell whether a new algorithm is workable.
