"BTC leads the moves" will be true until it suddenly isn't. Remember that BTC has only led the market since summer 2017. From January 2016 until then, ETH was the token that usually moved first. It's only been a year of Bitcoin regaining this status, this can and will change again. Markets are anti-inductive, the more people believe BTC leads moves the less true it will become.
I hear you, buddy. But for now, BTC is leading the way. If that would change in the future, we'd see it and simply tweak our strategy. : )
