help guide for us newer members

Some Information I have picked up so far.

I promised to update weekly about any new information I collect , that will make life easier and better for US newer members, and as I have quite a few followers on 25 or below, this seems important to follow through with.

1 voting, do not waste your votes by up voting for the fun of it, do not throw the vote power away on up voting comments. more on this below.

2 if you want to comment on someone else's post, keep it real, and say what you think about the content you read or watched, simply saying nice job or great post, excellent info, without adding any personality to the post will likely get ignored, or worse hidden via down votes.

3 posts/blogs more is less, as I have learned in two weeks, content is KING, quality of content will always be rewarded more than a quantity of badly written posts.

4 vote power, and what you have, you can check your vote power here https://steemd.com/@ after the @ simply add your user name and it tells you how close to 100% vote you are, this is important, and the reason why is in the video below, you will need 47 minutes of spare time to watch it, the gent who took maybe a few hours of his life to help us new members, at least deserves the reward of us watching this, also giving him a thumbs up on you tube so he knows we support him @georgedonnelly

5 check d tube videos also for advice for new members, you earn money also for upvoting on d tube, use those votes cautiously and spread them out over 24 hours, staying as close to 100% vote power as possible, try to get as much steem power as possible, with the aim to get at least 500 to gain control over how much of a vote you give something.

I did try to add bullet points to this using the markdown, it then kept saying remove html, and trust me, this has taken over 1 hour to compile as everything went wrong after that.
