I don't think there's such a mechanism here. What you are saying is that the more upvotes there are, the more each consecutive upvote is worth? Can you link to that information, please?

Its just what I noticed from my own curation

In the end, you get 75% of what is written as the payout for this article. This includes randowhale's vote.

There are two other factors:

  • The more SP you have, the bigger share of cash from the upvotes you will get (from the 25% share for curators)
  • As the value of Steem changes, so does the value of SBD - this creates a fluctuation of the payout price of any post.
