Is steemit destined to collapse?

What is the future of steemit is it going to fail or will it regain its old power?
Hard to say, but there are definitely some facts to look at.

Success.

First of all its all about people, don't you agree the bigger the community the higher the chances are to success.
So i personally believe that if steemit would attract lets say 500k to 1million people over a year or 2 it would make huge difference.

Fail.

Did not see it coming before, but seems like everything is slowly dieing. There has to be a reason behind this?
Well otherwise the everything whats new shines brighter the only thing i personally see is steemit police/cleaners/cheetah.
Since when sharing information over the internet is called plagiarism? especially if people do like that information without any further investigation. So if there were numbers i believe 50% of new people try that fail and leave. And when i say leave they just get banned by cheetah or blacklisted as rubish people even if they tried one more time it automatically gets flagged.Others just run out of ideas and maybe someone don't have enough time to write easier to copy/paste.
So here you are loosing potential investors and community members just like that.

Figures show that nearly 20 000 people left because of simple control of content. And how big is steemit active database right now? 10-20 000? surely numbers like that are fatal to steemit.

Reminder this is only my opinion and you may disagree with it.

Your previous scamming, identity theft, and plagiarist accounts seemed to go beyond "sharing information over the internet"

Would you like to return the money you stole from @roelandp that he gave you to spend on Steemradio?

You're not a community member, you're a parasite.

Tell that to every single curation bot, to return what they stole.

When you think about how many accounts are held by the same users, even where it is known and bots we have a very small amount of end-users.

Every Metric I can find shows a lack of growth. A lack of user retention and a lack of interest in the purchase of steem power. I do think the idea is still viable and while I personally don't blame Steemcleaners, yet you bring up a decent point of discussion.

Agreed there are much more issues, i don't blame them either just trying to say is it necessary as we came to a point where there is no more growth at all.

@deividas is a returning scammer and is not being wholly honest.

Oh, I knew/know nothing of that.

You have and you're not right

I really hope to see it grow, I think people just need to hang on when they join, get familiar and not panic. There is a lot to take in. I stuck through it and im glad I did. I try to recruit lol on my other social media sites and think we should all do the same, explain to friends and family how it works and why this could turn big if we all allow it to... i dont want to see this fail

Yes, I think should be a new topic: #recruitment

I'm constantly wondering how much time i'm investing into something that might be worthless any time. Then I remember that's my whole life online. How many programming languages have I had to learn to do the things I want?

Steemit will grow, but we have to ensure that people do not enrich themselves through the theft of other people's labour. If the site is to grow it must move beyond being a link posting site, and generate its own content.
