Did you notice that lately a lot of people leave positive comments,but don't upvote the actual post.
Lately i have been going through my posts, and found out that actually most of the users that leave a comment in any of my posts never bother to upvote it.
I really wonder why is that, since personally if i leave a comment you get an upvote. A comment to me is just used to express my thoughts about the post, or just simply say thank you for a nice read.
Is this happening after HF-19 since you can't really upvote as much as you used to before, especially the ones who have less then 500SP and unable to set upvote %.
A 100% vote will be 4 times more powerful once HF19 is completed. As its now a single 100% vote uses only 0.5% of your remaining voting power (voting power regenerates fully over a 5 day period). That means real users would need to vote 40 times a day at full power to use most of their voting power. This leaves users who are less active unable to fully leverage their voting power. After this change, a single 100% vote will use 2% of your remaining voting power, meaning that 10 full-power votes a day will now be enough to leverage the most of your daily voting power.
As you can see from the pictures below none of the users who left a positive feedback in the comments bothered to upvote an actual post. That really made me think 1 person could just comment and forget to upvote, but all of them chances are really slim.
Did you get comments like them? what are your opinions? Do you tolerate them and upvote them back even they didn't?
I think there are a lot of accounts that just auto post without actually reading content. I get a lot of generic comments like "Great post thanks for sharing" when it's not really something I'm sharing but it's asking a question. So I'd imagine those do not upvote.
I can only talk for myself but sometimes i just forget to upvote. If i want to comment something i do that first and after that i normally upvote. Good post, upvoted (for real this time, i upvoted before writing the comment this time!).
Sad but true. This is what happening now. What you can do is post more quality contents and more people will up vote.
Interesting fact that some of accounts that upvoted do not post anything and just resteem your posts lol
