Having put my heart and soul into Instagram for over four years, I thought I'd give Steepshot a whirl to see if I can integrate it into my daily posting route.

This is a brief review, nothing fancy, just my opinion. Feel free to rant in the comments section.

In comparing the interface, it's sweet. I love it.

Posting photos on Steemit with Steepshot is a great experience. Probably the easiest way to get you smartphone photos onto Steemit. Select, write your description (post title), add tags and click post, Simple. That's it, a photo on Steemit in a single post.

The post shows up on Steemit as a single photo post.

Pros

• you earn money for your photos
• great mobile posting experience compared to Steemit.com
• it works

Cons

• no heart notifications (please bring them, that's the dopamine hit)
• for now posting content is a little tricky, just a little
• you can only type the title of the post, not the body text
• real cons listed below

This is only the Alpha version, so bravo to the devs for their work so far. I'm sure they'll fix these and wow us with updates. Isn't that right @steepshot?

It really has the potential to onboard photographers and Instagram users new to the crypo space. If someone told me I could earn money from posting photos then I'd sign up straight away. This is what I've been waiting for.

However, there are a few things that I really wish the developers would fix

I'm using the Android Alpha 0.0.2 and iOS Alpha 0.0.1

1. The back button cancels the whole post?

The iPhone back button doesn't work.

When you type your description there isn't really any hint as to where you should press to go back.

But clicking the back button on iPhone cancels the whole post and brings you back to photo selection. You actually have to click the white space below the photo to get back to the posting area for your final review.

Clicking the back button on Android works great, it brings you back to review before posting.

2. The 'add tags' button needs help

What is going on here Android? You're drunk.

Please help the Android users as the display feature seems to be boxed making it really difficult to add and see what tags you have selected.

3. Why can I only post four tags?

The tagging is great! But why only four?

In Conclusion, Steepshot is awesome and I highly advise you download it.

iPhone users for now will have a better experience than Android.
