Can anyone explain more about the current relationship between STEEM, SBD and STEEMPOWER? As far as I understand it, SBD is supposed to be around $1USD. STEEM is currently $0.8989 USD and STEEM POWER is invested STEEM that you can Power Down.

    You can also power up steem to steem power. Only the power gets interest, not steem, but don't ask me how much.

    Thats correct, however there is nothing set up to actually keep SBD equal to $1 USD so it can fluctuate, for example recently $1 SBD was worth $2 USD.

      So theoretically is there any reason why STEEM couldn't be $50 and SBD could be $100 ?

        At the moment there is no reason why they couldn't be, what matters is the value people give to them.
