It wasn't accidental. Steem was designed from the ground up due to the problems we faced onboarding people with BitShares.

And btw, this post was initially titled, the day I signed up for Steemit was the best day of my life but I didn't know it yet. :p

Yes you are right. There is a logic behind Steem, Its not fluke that they have created steem.

Maybe we should call Steem a social currency instead of a cryptocurrency?
