Introduction:

Yes as you have just read in the title of this blog, Steemit has a look-a-like website that is called Yours.org, it is also a social media platform that allows creators to be rewarded for their contents, but unlike Steemit that rewards its users by SBDs, in Yours you get paid with Bitcoin.

How to earn Bitcoin On Yours.org?

Yours is a social media that paid its users by creating a good content, voting on a good content, or commenting on a good content.

There is 4 ways to earn bitcoins on Yours:

1) Earning Bitcoin by Buying Content:

To earn bitcoins on Yours.org by creating a good content, you should create a blog and divide it on two sections:

• First section: I would like to call it “Demo section”, it represents the preview of the content, which gives an idea to the reader on the subject of your blog.
• Second section: it is premium, it is the part that is set behind what is called the “pay wall”, nobody can see what is inside that section until he/she purchase it.
  The price of that part is set by you, you can sell your blog with any price you want (Yours.Inc takes 5% of the purchases).

2) Earning Bitcoins by Voting:

To earn bitcoin with finding good content, the process is as following : The early you vote, the more you earn.

3) Earning Bitcoin from tips :

You can earn bitcoins from tips, it exists 3 ways to be tipped: you can be tipped by people on your user page, or they can tip you on your content or they can tip you on your comments, it is similar to a “Like” but that it is worth 1$.

I would say that it is similar to “Upvote” in Steemit but the price of “Upvote” changes from a user to another which not the case on Yours, a “Tip” is worth 1$.

4) Earning Bitcoin by Commenting:

You can earn bitcoin also by setting a price for comments on your content.

My Opinion:

I am not going into make a comparison between Yours and Steemit because even there are some little similarities between them like:

• They are both Social-Media platform
• In both places authors get rewarded for their content
• In both Places curators get rewarded for curating good contents.

But there is still a large difference between Steemit and Yours.

I see Yours just like any centralized social platform that added a peer-to-peer payment to its system, contrary to Steemit that is a whole social-media running on the blockchain.

Moreover, I think that the Team of Yours has -in their strategy- focused more on the creators of the content rather than curators, They have given more freedom to the creators of good content to earn bitcoins, like for example “charging people to comment on their articles” !!! -even if it could be optional by the creators to set a price for comments or not and even if it is considered as a way to avoid spammers- In another point of view it can be misjudged or misunderstood by users or even considered as an abuse to their right of commenting freely, So in place to charge people to comment an article why not keep “commenting action” free and presenting other solutions to ban spammers like bots for example.

However, This is just my point of view about Yours.org, For people who like to diversify their money incomes, Here it is Yours.org as another way to make money online.
