Grinding Bitcoin Faucets to Earn Steem Power

in #steemit8 years ago

Intro:

Many users who lack ways of getting Bitcoin other than for free tend to grind faucets. Grinding faucets tends to be boring, and while doing so one can run into a lot of faucets that don't pay. With this in mind, grinding faucets to many is a waste of time, but to some, it's their goldmine.

I used to be an avid Bitcoin faucet grinder, grinding for not only referrals but for also the free bits. Depending on the amount of referrals I had for new faucets, I used to make a decent bit just from referral income, especially when catching a new faucet with few users.

I just recently joined Steemit today and while researching its features, I instantly wanted to earn more Steem and Steem Power for free. Though browsing through the guides and such, earning Steem and Steem Power for new users can be quite complicated when you're just starting out.

Preparation:

The Method:

Once you have your deposit address for Steem Power you can begin grinding or referring. I mainly use FaucetBox faucets as for the most part they're a reliable with sending payments daily.

Simply use your Steem Power Bitcoin purchase address to collect from faucets, and be sure set your FaucetBox withdrawal minimum to  0.00013000 BTC.

Getting 13,000 Satoshi through faucets isn't too incredibly hard depending on how many faucets you're collecting from, with that you'll get around 0.3 + Steam Power at current market prices!

Referral Tips:

Depending on how old the faucet is, more than likely it's already swamped with users so you'll want to look for faucets that are relatively new.

  • Referring through Email Lists

Personally I have email lists of faucet users whom I tend to refer to newer faucets I know are paying, if you have email lists, market your faucet referral link to those people and save up your earnings.

  • Referring through PTC websites

There are plenty of users who use PTC websites to try and gain referrals, though this way tends to not be cost effective, as you could simply use that BTC to purchase Steem Power.
