As he manually upvotes users (those who send funds to him) we can beat him to curating a few times each day so the trail benefits a bit more.

Valid point.. We hadn't really thought of this (certainly a variable we never considered) will have to discuss in more detail when we're a bit more finalised..

I suppose there is a counter argument as well that he has also invested a lot of funds in steemit and wants it to succeed while also getting a return on his investment.
