Question: Steemit Newbie Here: What Category of Content To Post.
Hello everyone, Cryptowolf here with a simple but important question. I recently joined this great community 1 or 2 weeks ago and have been exploring the various topics Steemit has to offer and have become more and more enchanted with what the platform has to offer. Browsing along, I have seen some amazing content that prompted some deep thinking and insightful commentary from the community. Following off all this, I feel like I am ready to start posting my own content and properly introduce myself. That said, I am in an unsure position regarding my potential future posts as I have two separate sides of interests to discuss about and want to subject readers to the side they want to see and not what they don't.
Over the past year and half, I have read through various news articles, followed upcoming technologies, and observed the markets in order to get a preliminary understanding of Cryptocurrencies, starting to invest in them around 6 months ago. Upon discovering Steemit, I was happy to find a new social network built upon the blockchain concept I had been researching this whole time, prompting me to investigate further and leading me to explore Steemit, and develop an interest in joining the community in discussing Cryptocurrencies and new technology.
Separate from my Cryptocurrency interest outlined above, I have other aspects of my life that may interest the Steemit community. I recently came back from studying for quarter abroad in Spain and Italy, exploring new cities and creating memorable experiences with new friends during my stay there. From these experiences I have a lot of pictures from my trip and a multitude of stories to share about my travels whilst there, with the community in Steemit seeming like the exact type of people who I would want to share it with.
In addition, I am a student studying Computer Science and a gamer, having played a variety of games since I was little. That said, I have some interesting ideas on how to integrate in the gaming community here during and after I have finished posting about travel, creating a method for continuous involvement after I have told all my stories.
Seeing as I have two different sets of topics to talk about that I am both passionate about,
Should I post content about both sets of topics? or would that create a blog with conflicting interests?
This conflict comes from the fact that I would like to discuss both of them but I am also aware that people coming to me for my travel/gaming content may not have an interest in what I have to say about Cryptocurrencies and vice-versa.
Any advice from the Steemit community about how to handle this?
TL;DR: Steemit is great and I want to start posting to it. I could post both stuff about Cryptocurrencies or Study Abroad Travel/Gaming. Should I post both?
