Excited to be a dolphin!
After getting a very good reception and a fast following, I decided to start investing more in Steem. Over the last few days I have been powering up my account to get to dolphin status. I believe very strongly in Steemit and the great active community we have here! I hope to one day get to Orca, but I am a long way off from that.
As a celebration to my new Steemit rank and in the spirit of sharing and giving back to the steemit community, I will give every comment a 100% upvote. (Don't spam though guys, if a conversation is developing then great but I won't upvote spam).

What exactly constitutes .....a dolphin....
is there a certain amount to have in your account? or ....what does it exactly?
Its about 5000 steempower. I believe it works out 99m vests (i would have to double check that)

It certainly is! not at dolphin but absolutely at orca. I just did it because I believe in Steemit a lot!

I was going to ask the same question. I still do not quite understand how me buying into Steemit helps too. Perhaps you would help explain it since you did it? I strongly believe in this idea, and I'm seriously considering buying into the project too. How does it help? Do I still get interest when I do? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

How this platform and the three tokens work is what I meant.
I'm beginning to understand it fully, but it is still a bit confusing. One follow up question for example: Is interest actually being paid at the moment? I've only been here for less than a week, and I just claimed my first pay out. Will that eventually earn interest?
For example, if I could earn interest on an investment here, that is way more of an incentive to buy into the project as an investor.
There was interest payed at the start of Steemit but not anymore. I don't know if they intend to bring back that feature.
