Well, according to my opinion, it's YES !!
Bitcoin is the internet of money, they say... the development in blockchain technology enhances the growth of bitcoins.
It's not so distant future, we are going to see that the blockchain technology is dominated by decentralised token of social media, steem !!

Just like facebook had taken up the entire kingdom of internet from Google, we shall see Steemit taking away decentralised technologies from Bitcoin. As the price depends solely on the popularity, Steemit, being a social media, has the tendency to grow much more faster than Ethererum.
